Applications close on 28 August or when the level’s quota is reached. Apply for one level only. JCSS does not publish a separate late-registration period in this notice.
Complete the confirmation step
Use the JCSS registration portal. Follow the payment gateway back to the application site, fill in the registration details and submit the form. A bank charge alone is not evidence that all application steps are complete.
JCSS also requires its confirmation form to be sent by email within three days of online registration. Use the form linked from the current JLPT page and follow its submission instructions. Keep the payment reference and the registration acknowledgement together.
An application photograph is not required. A Singapore mailing address is required, so an overseas address cannot be substituted for the address used to send the voucher.

The notice asks candidates to report 50 minutes before the scheduled start. The report-by times above are calculated from that instruction. The timetable also shows answer-writing times five minutes after each session begins; those are not arrival deadlines.
Voucher and identification
JCSS plans to post the voucher, Form C and venue information by 15 October. Contact JCSS if the package has not arrived by 31 October. The assigned SMU building depends on the level; read the address on the notice rather than going only to the general university address.
Bring the original physical photo NRIC or passport required by the test notice. Digital identification and an ID without a photograph are not accepted. Late entry is not allowed. Phones and other electronic devices must stay switched off during breaks as well as test sections.
July and December sittings
Singapore offers the JLPT in July and December. The 2026 dates are 5 July and 6 December. A 2027 Singapore registration window had not been announced in the JCSS notices checked on 12 October 2026; wait for a new local notice before treating any expected month as an application date.
